The Vision
The 100 Year Master Plan
William Land Golf Course

The master plan sets a “road map” for all future capital improvement projects and ensures those projects tie in together toward a greater design vision for the golf course. Having this unified vision greatly reduces the chance that a particular project needs to be re-done well before its intended lifespan runs out, thus also reducing large sums of wasted money.
The Goal of The Master Plan
Address infrastructure needs, with an eye on the long-distance future and health of the golf course.
Look at most sustainable water-saving measures that could be taken, also with an eye on the long-distance future.
Create a large, fun, community-oriented putting green.
Address routing/flow issue at holes 6-7-8.
Look at all ways to enhance the playing experience of the golf course for the greatest number of golfers.
Maximize the potential of this special community asset and, as it celebrates its 100th year, set it up to thrive for the next 100 years.
